Looks like no one has a comment about Annie so I'll bite. I find it very difficult to believe Annie Dillard will retire completely. I'm sure the traveling and speaking gets old, but she's been writing a very long time. How could she just walk away from it? She'll write...she might not tell us about it, and one day we'll read what she's penned in secret. AT least, that's what I hope. :)
