Crashing

I have no idea if this will work because my Windows program crashed and I've been dealing with reinstalling and frustrating attempts to get on the Internet. Seems I can't get onto my home page which also means I can't get mail. So if anyone has sent me mail and I haven't answered it's because I can't. Same goes for Crimespace. I feel like I'm in Internet hell...or is it simply computer hell? Not writing, of course. Even if I wanted to write I couldn't because of this mess. Lost all my mail, but saved my addresses and bookmarks. But what good is that if I can't get on.

Well, let's see.

Hope you can get this one on here. I am loving the LL book. I am slowing down to a snail's pace so I don't finish it too soon. Thanks for the recommendation. It is a masterwork-exciting, though-provoking, sad, pithy. Everything good.
I've passed page 100 on my book. Maybe this is it.

Hope you're up and running. And writing too!

BTW, I saw where Lippman would be signing books at my favorite bookstore in Houston, Murder by the Book. Signings there are always good. LL has had my attention ever since your 'review' of her latest. I read the back copy on all her books - they all sound great. If not, then someone sure knows how to write back cover blurbs. :)

any chance you might consider switching over to a mac? they crash so rarely, hardly ever get a virus, and are now compatible to all kinds of programmes from the evil empire (microsoft). just a thought!

I've been using a PC for more than 25 years. Too hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Anyway, I have a wonderful computer. It's a Shuttle XPC. Google it and take a look. It's not my computer that made the mess. It's good old Microsoft....again.
