Reading

Whenever I try something new I first read things that are the same type.  I did that with Young Adults,  PI’s and Police Procedurals. This time I got a bunch of anthologies and am trying to read a few stories a day.  They’ve helped me already.  I think I’ll be able to do this. I’ll start writing next Tuesday instead of reading what I have of my novel.  That will come after I finish the story.  I have a germ of an idea.

Good luck with the story, Sandra, Good to hear you've gotten into the form.

Thank you...but I haven't gotten into the form yet. I think I have to write the story before I can say that.

Sorry about SB being so expensive. Especially since I get nothing from it. It's a collectors item now. That feels so strange that I would produce something that collectors would want.

SB was never intended as a children's book. It was for adults, like Eloise, but it crossed over and many children liked it.

I wish you the best with Hildy Hildy.

I really enjoyed the stories in Damn Near Dead and some of the Noir Series (Twin City Noir, Chicago Noir, etc.)
